Long time local restaurant announced previously that they were closing, but have now emerged with exciting news of new restaurant owners.

Kuntry Kitchen who has been apart of this community since 1985 and has faithfully served Lawrenceburg with good home cooked meals last week announced their plans to close the doors.

On Wednesday the restaurant announced some exciting news that the business has been sold to new owners who plan to continue the restaurant.

Kuntry Kitchen released the following statement:

"We are thrilled to announce that Russ and Christine Wright have purchased the Kuntry Kitchen! Together, they have years of experience along with a passion for food and serving the community. We are beyond thankful to hand the reins over from one local family to another. We hope you guys show them the love they deserve as they plan to re-open this weekend! "

The new owners plan on reopening the doors to Kuntry Kitchen on March 20th, and said they will be bringing back all the favorites.
