Limestone County, Alabama Sheriff's Office arrested a Loretto, Tennessee man after receiving a 911 call regarding a shooting.

The Limestone County Sheriff's Office released the following information and photo:

"On March 6, 2023, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Limestone County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a shooting in the 27000 Block of Abby Ln. in the northwestern part of Limestone County.

Investigators responded and located 19 rifle casings in the driveway and 19 bullet holes in the home and a vehicle. The house was occupied during the time of the shooting.

During the investigation, Michael McConnell of Loretto, TN, was identified as a suspect. Investigators located McConnell, and he voluntarily provided the rifle he used in the shooting to investigators.

Michael Dale McConnell, 58 of Loretto, TN, has been charged with 2 Counts of Discharging Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling McConnell was released from the Limestone County Detention Center on a $45,000 bond.
