On March 12, 2026, Investigator Gary Mills with the Loretto Police Department/22" Judicial Drug Task Force arrested

Michael Barnett for Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of Marijuana for Resale, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Barnett was found to be in possession of 88.28 grams of methamphetamine, 26.11 grams of hydroponic marijuana, several paraphernalia items used in the sale of illegal drugs, and $2,171.00 cash.

He was transported to the Lawrence County Jail from the property on Rascaltown Road where he was found to be trespassing.

The Loretto Police Department was assisted by Constable Randy Tucker and Saint Joseph Police Department.
