The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man and woman

On Sunday, March 9, during 10AM worship, the Church of Christ at Center Hill had the contribution and cancer money taken. It is alleged that a man and woman (both white, age mid 30's) may have taken the funds.

During the service both went into the foyer where they were met by two men of the church. The man asked for "gas money". The woman went into the ladies room and soon after came back into the foyer. They were asked to remain until worship was concluded but soon after they both left in an older model medium to light blue Nissan truck with body damage on the passenger side.

Not until the service was over was it discovered the boxes had been emptied of checks and cash.
