Thursday Night Crash Claims Life Of Young Summertown Man
A crash in the Summertown area Thursday night has claimed the life of a young Summertown man.
Reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol indicate that the single vehicle crash occurred on Highway 20 at around 11:11 p.m.
Cody E. Gray, age 31, was reportedly traveling westbound when he crashed into a deer. The impact caused Gray to lose control of the 1994 Lincoln. He reportedly left the roadway and impacted a tree.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Kyle Burleson. Assisting at the scene were members of the Summertown Fire Department and the Lawrence County Ambulance Service.
