Teen Treated For Dog Bite
An Ethridge teen was treated for a dog bite Monday; bitten while retrieving her dog from a neighbor’s yard.
Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to Rapid Care Clinic on North Locust Avenue around 5:30 p.m. The victim, age 16, reported she had let her dog out briefly and noticed it had run across the street, into a neighbor’s yard.
The teen indicated she followed in an attempt to retrieve the dog. While doing so, however, she said her neighbor’s dog, which was chained at the time, bit her.
Reports indicate the teen’s injuries did not appear to be serious in nature.
