Items Reported Stolen From Boat
Law enforcement officials were notified during the weekend that thieves had targeted a Lawrenceburg home, stealing items from the homeowners’ boat.
The residents of Ann Road explained to Lawrenceburg Police Officers Sunday that a boat GPS was missing from their boat, along with a tackle box and tackle. The items, they reported, had been locked inside a center compartment.
Officers noted that the thief had pried open the compartment, causing some damage. Loss and damages were said to equal $629.
The victims told officers they had placed the items into the boat only the day before, in anticipation of a fishing excursion.
