Lawrence County EMS February Stats

The Lawrence County Emergency Medical Services has released the monthly statistics for February.

Throughout the month, the department had 544 requests, of which 377 patients were transported. Other than local transfers to Southern Tennessee Regional Lawrenceburg, 49 were transported to Maury Regional, 5 to Southern Tennessee Regional Pulaski, 14 to North Alabama Medical Center, and 43 to other counties. Refusal of care and no care required calls were 102, canceled calls and no patient found was 59, and fire standby, law enforcement assistance, and mutual aid requests were 8.

The call volume for February remained steady compared to 2024. Continuing education opportunities for February included courses on emergency vehicle operations, airway/vent and hemodynamics training, and an Advanced Cardiac Life Support course.

LCEMS participated in 3 community outreach events providing education about EMS careers or lifesaving skills to approximately 75 students. Also, 6 new hires joined the Lawrence EMS staff.
