Burglars Target Leoma Church
Burglars targeted a Leoma area church overnight Sunday leaving damages in their wake.
According to reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies were summoned to Fall River United Methodist Church around 1:30 p.m. Monday by member Frances Mackin. She told deputies someone had kicked in a door to the church’s youth house, causing damage to the storm door, entry door and door frame.
At the time the report was filed Mackin indicated nothing appeared to be missing. She estimated damages to total $475.
