Lawrence County Fire Rescue

Members from 13 Stations working together to ensure that you receive the help that you deserve in your time of need. The names on the trucks and the colors of our turnouts may be different, but we work as a team to accomplish a common goal.
“Neighbors Helping Neighbors”
In August of 2025 we made a move that many said would never work. We were given the funding to supplement our volunteers with part time staffing during the daytime hours Monday-Friday when the majority of our volunteers are unable to respond to calls due to their work schedules. We think it is safe to say that the program has strengthened our working relationships, and offered a breath of fresh air to our volunteers who continue to carry the majority of the load in providing fire, rescue, and EMS services to those in our communities. Most importantly we have increased public safety, and firefighter safety by ensuring an immediate response in a time period that we previously couldn’t guarantee a response at all.
We are thankful to everyone who supported us, and those who continue to support us. The attached picture is truly worth 1,000 words.
