Serving a warrant, and a traffic stop result in the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office getting more narcotics off the streets.

 

The Lawrence County Sheriff's office are continuing their fight daily against the war on drugs where last week their department made several narcotics arrest.

The first arrest stemmed from deputies serving a child support warrant on Mr. Tidwell where the suspect was found to be in possession of 9 grams of methamphetamine.

Tidwell was arrested on charges possession of schedule II narcotics for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia where he was transported to the Lawrence County jail.

The 2nd arrest occured when deputies were conducting a traffic stop along Old Highway 43 at Dukes Park Road for a traffic violation.

During the stop Mr. Gray was in possession of 19.2 grams of methamphetamine along with a firearm where the suspect was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a firearm during the commision of a dangerous felony.
