Domestic violence incident leads to two arrested by Florence Police

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) — Two men were arrested after officers responded to a domestic violence call on Sunday.

Florence Police said that officers responded to the 2200 block of Hough Road regarding a 911 call.

Upon arrival, officers forced their way into a home and took a man into custody after he resisted arrest.

FPD identified the man as 34-year-old Carlos Choc-Tiul. He was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental operations.

After further investigation, 35-year-old Francisco Coc-Caal was arrested for domestic violence-strangulation and willful abuse of a child.
