Local Fire Departments, and EMA are preparing for expected heavy rainfall by training with water rescue boats.

The Lawrenceburg Fire Department released the following photos and details regarding preparations for weather:

"In preparation for the forecasted heavy rainfall in the coming days members of Lawrenceburg Fire Department, Lawrenceburg/Lawrence County EMA, and Lawrence County Fire Rescue took advantage of the beautiful day to exercise or water rescue boats.

We are thankful for a great working among all of our other local agencies.

We promise to always be PRO-ACTIVE rather than reactive !"
