Gainesboro Resident Charged With Introducing Drugs Into Jail

   Local authorities retrieved an inmate from Lebanon Sunday evening to face charges through the local court system.

   Arrest reports show that deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department made the transport, arriving at the Lawrence County Detention Center around 10:00 p.m.

There, Clorene M. Allen, age 77, of 2154 Seven Knobs Road, Gainesboro, Tennessee, was booked under a charge of introduction of drugs into a penal institution. Allen was processed without incident.

   Allen is scheduled to answer the charge in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on March 26, 2013.
