Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to Handy Andy Market after theives distracted employees while another stole vapes.

 

Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched in reference to a theft at Handy Andy Market on US 43 where employees told police that video surveillance from their store showed a team effort of a distract, and grab theft.

After officers reviewed the footage they observed a black Toyota 4 door car pull up to the gas pumps where a young male exited the vehicle, and went into the store while the car pulled around to the drive thru window.

The video showed the male subject inside the store watching the window where once the car pulled up, and the employee went to the rear of the store to retrieve an item that the driver requested the male subject grabbed multiple vapes then ran out the store.

The owner of the store is seeking prosecution once the driver, and male subject inside the store are identified where the video surveillance shows clear images of the suspects.
