The Criminal Investigation Division is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the following person of interest in a recent bank fraud case.
On February 10th, 2025, at approximately 4:30 PM, the individual shown below entered the Bank Independent in Cherokee, Alabama. The suspect presented what appears to be counterfeit identification documents, falsely claiming to be someone else. These fraudulent documents were used to obtain a large sum of cash from the victim’s account. Afterward, the suspect exited the bank and appeared to head towards Mississippi. It is believed that the vehicle shown below was the one in which the suspect was a passenger.
