Lawrence County Emergency Management shares the path of damage that occurred during Wednesday night storms.

 

According to the Lawrence County Emergency Management on Wednesday night numerous volunteer fire departments in Southeastern Lawrence County responded to reports of damage with trees, and power lines on structures in the area around five points.

The Lawrenceburg Utility system also responded to reports of 103 customers along the Dunn Leoma road that were without power at one time after the National Weather Service had issued a Significant Weather Advisory as a line of storms approached the county as well as issuing a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Lawrence and Giles Counties when damage reports began coming in.
