On Tuesday night members of the Leoma Fire Department spent their evening pre-planning the Keestone Resort that is located in our first due coverage area.

The Keestone resort is a beautiful multi story facility with nearly 100,000 square feet under roof. The Resort hotel offers permanent residence options as well as options for weddings,events, meetings, and entertainment venues.

The facility also features its own bowling alley, swimming pool, movie theatre, and a grand theatre.

As part of the pre plan our members concentrated on the facilities fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system, and elevator system.

Our members also took measurements of different areas of the facility to aid us in constructing hotel packs to be utilized in deploying fire attack hose in the large facility.

Our personnel also conducted evolutions on apparatus positioning and supplying the resort’s fire sprinkler system.

We want to thank the owners of the Keestone Resort for taking the time to join us for the facility preplan. We appreciate their hospitality and willingness to join us in being pro active in planning for emergency response to the facility.

This facility is just one of many facilities in our community that we have recently pre-planned. We are committed to being prepared to respond to emergencies in our community.
