Burglary Investigated At Virginia Drive Home
Authorities are working to determine whether items missing from a Virginia Drive home were stolen at the same time that a trailer was taken from the property last week.
The resident summoned officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department to his home around 10:40 a.m. Friday. He told them that he had reported his trailer stolen a couple of days prior, but had since noticed several other items were missing from his garage and outbuilding.
The victim said that someone had stolen a ten gallon, Craftsman brand air compressor from his garage. Missing from his outbuilding were a five gallon, Stanley brand air compressor along with three finish nail guns, a Stihl brand weed eater, and a Stihl leaf blower.
The victim said he was uncertain whether these thefts might have occurred at the same time the trailer was stolen. The items were estimated to have a combined value of $725. Investigation in the matter is currently on-going.
