Several stores in Lawrence County have declared their closing.

The majority of Big Lots’ inventory has already been sold since the store’s closure, which was announced some weeks ago. The once-popular store is having trouble staying open due to financial issues that have emerged in recent years. When plans failed, the company filed for bankruptcy despite officials’ efforts to find a new buyer.

Even if a new buyer has taken control, the stores that have already started to close will stay closed, which will result in far lower numbers for the businesses that are still open.

Bargain Hunt has 91 locations throughout 10 states. Following the notification that all stores would be closing, the lone distribution center closed towards the end of January.

The distribution center is in Antioch, while the headquarters are in La Vergne. Finally, Highway 55 shut down after less than a year at its new location. This is happening as a result of the parent firm going bankrupt.
