Counterfeit Money Discovered In Restaurant Deposit
Counterfeit money was discovered among the bills deposited by a Lawrenceburg restaurant last week.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that officers were summoned to Arby’s restaurant, 1622 North Locust Avenue, around 2:45 Sunday afternoon. The manager reported the bills had been discovered by bank officials after a deposit was made.
The manager reported that two counterfeit $20 bills were identified. She told officers she was uncertain who might have passed the bills, or on which day the transaction took place.
The bills were seized into evidence. Investigation into the matter is on-going at the current time.
