Maury County battles structure fire.

At 3:06PM yesterday, 1/26, units were dispatched to a residential structure fire on Les Robinson Rd. Responding units: Engines 21, 29, 31, 32, Tankers 21, 30, 32, Brush 32, District 31 & 32, OPS 20, Safety 20, and Deputy 20 as well as Spring Hill FD on mutual aid with Engine 61, Battalion 60, and Chief 61.

Station 32 (Carters Creek) has been staffed with three personnel since Friday by dedicated volunteers and immediately responded.

Units arrived to heavy fire from two bedrooms and commenced with an offensive fire attack. Engine 32’s crew made quick work of the fire and were immediately backed up with a second hand line from SHFD Engine 61 handling the second room of fire.

Members operated for 2.5 hours performing salvage and overhaul. Special thanks to Maury OEM Shane Petty for responding with hot coffee!

Special thanks as well to Maury County SO for closing the roadway so we could operate safely.

We appreciate the dedication of the Maury County Hwy Dept,TDOT, Duck River Electric, and CPWS, without their hard work over the last two days reaching this fire would have been very difficult.
