Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to the same Dollar General location twice with seperate reports of theft.

The Lawrenceburg police department was dispatched to the Dollar General store on North Military Avenue in reference of two separate reports of theft where the first incident involved a female subject stealing makeup.

The Assistant Manager reported to police that he witnessed a female subject removing makeup from its box, placing the box on a different shelf, and then exiting the store with the stolen makeup where he was able to get the tag number of the vehicle she was in.

At this time no charges have been filed regarding the theft.

The 2nd report of theft occurred when a male subject was exiting the store wearing a baseball cap that he had stole, and once the Assistant Manager stopped him the male subject went back inside the store where he placed the cap back on the shelf that he had taken it from.

After the male subject left the assistant manager noticed on the surveillance footage that the man had also taken multiple items where the store is checking into obtaining a summons for the shoplifting, and for removing the tag from the cap.
