Ethridge Qualifying Deadline Approaches

   Individuals interested in vying for a seat on the Ethridge City Commission have only three weeks remaining during which they may qualify to do so.

   Two of three seats on the city’s commission are up for grabs during the city’s upcoming election. The qualifying deadline is noon on Thursday, February 19, 2009. Those interested in participating may pick up qualifying documents at the Office of the Lawrence County Election Commission on Lawrenceburg’s Centennial Boulevard.

   The names of all those who meet qualifying deadlines will appear on the city’s May 26, 2009, ballot.
