Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office looking for missing woman

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman last seen on Jan. 15.

LCSO said it is looking for Amy Deaton who was last seen on Jan. 15 in the area of County Road 585 in Elgin, AL.

Authorities said Deaton is described as 5’2″ tall and weighing around 100 lbs, she has black hair and hazel eyes. She also has a piercing on her right cheekbone and a stat tattoo behind the right ear.

The sheriff’s office said Deaton was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a grey hoodie and Nike tennis shoes.

Authorities said anyone with any information on Deaton’s whereabouts should call the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office at 256-760-5757 or call 911.
