Wheel Stolen Overnight From Ethridge Resident’s Truck
An Ethridge resident emerged from his home Saturday to find someone had stolen a wheel off his truck.
The victim reported to deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that he had left his 2010 Chevrolet Sonoma parked in his driveway the previous evening. When he last saw it around 6:00 p.m., he said it was intact.
Reports show the culprit removed the driver side front wheel from the truck, leaving it propped on a wooden block. Deputies say the thief even made off with the lug nuts.
Loss was estimated at $218. The matter remains under investigation by detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
