Lawrence Man Faces Child Rape Charges
A Lawrenceburg man has been jailed in connection with several sex crimes, including rape of a child.
Lawrenceburg Police Chief Judy Moore issued a press release indicating that Miguel Angel Maldanado, Jr,. was booked through the Lawrence County Detention Center Monday morning. Maldanado was booked on charges of solicitation of a minor to observe sexual conduct, incest, aggravated sexual battery and rape of a child.
Maldanado is currently being held in lieu of a bond of $115,000. He is scheduled for an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on February 4, 2011.
