Maury County firefighters responded to a structure fire on Wednesday.

This morning at 08:51 units were dispatched to a reported barn fire on Miller Lake Rd. Responding units: Engines 21 & 32, Tanker 21 & 26, Deputy 20. Engine 30 moved up to headquarters during the fire for coverage.

Units arrived to find a small barn fully involved. Units contained the fire and all animals were saved by the homeowner prior to arrival of the FD.

Please use caution while using heat lamps to keep your animals warm. Ensure they are secured where animals cannot knock them over and monitor straw during windy conditions that can be blown into the heat lamp.
