2 students shot at Antioch High School; Shooter down

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two students were injured when they were shot at Antioch High School Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened inside the school on Hobson Pike around around 11 a.m.

According to Metro police, the situation at the school is contained. One student shot two other students before he turned the gun on himself.

It is not known how badly the other students are injured.

A reunification site for parents has been established at 3754 Murfreesboro Pike. Buses will be taking students there, including car riders. Parents needing information regarding reunification can call 615-401-1712.

Hobson Pike is closed to traffic near the Wilson County line. A portion of Murfreesboro Pike is closed near the the scene. Tennessee Department of Transportation HELP trucks have been dispatched to the area to help with traffic congestion.Metro
