Lawrenceburg Council To Hold Business Meeting Thursday Morning
Members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council will meet in regular session Thursday morning.
The agenda shows that council members will consider approval of two ordinances and three resolutions.
Ordinance 1107, to be considered on second and final reading, calls for the rezoning of a parcel of property belonging to James and John Fleeman. Ordinance 1109, to be considered on first reading, seeks changes to be made regarding traffic flow along Centennial Boulevard, from Mahr Avenue to West Gaines Street. If approved the action would create a “partial one-way street.”
Council members will consider passage of a resolution to approve annual appropriations to a list of non-profit organizations for the 2012-13 fiscal year.
One resolution requests that specified property in the Police Department be declared as surplus property, to be sold at auction via the internet. The last resolution identifies a qualified TIF project.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 8:30 a.m. inside the commission meeting room of the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building on West Gaines Street.
