Loretto Police Department



On January 14, 2025, Loretto Officers responded to a welfare check on a subject passed out in a vehicle at Cash Savers. Officers made contact with a white male subject that appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The driver then fled in the vehicle and led officers on a high-speed pursuit through Loretto, Saint Joseph, and into Alabama.
Lauderdale County picked up the pursuit in Greenhill and into Killen where the subject hit one of the county patrol units. The subject then crashed on Alabama Street where the arrest was made.
Lauderdale County took custody of the subject who was identified as Thomas Rosa from Mount Pleasant TN. Lauderdale County has several charges that occurred in their State including drug charges due to meth and marijuana being found in the vehicle. Loretto Police Department placed a hold on the subject for Reckless Endangerment, Reckless Driving, Evading Arrest, and Driving on a Suspended License.
Officers confirmed that Thomas Rosa also has warrants in Maury County and Ashland City
TN, and multiple warrants out of Ney Jersey.
