Maury County Fire Department responded to a commercial vehicle on fire on I-65 on Monday night.

The Maury County Fire Department shared the following photos and information on Monday:

"Units responded to a commercial vehicle fire tonight on I-65 at the 39 mile marker SB. Responding units: Engines 1, 3, 10, Tanker 1, Support 3, District Chief 1, and OEM for diesel and hydraulic fluid monitoring.

The on site concrete mixing truck had several pallets of bagged concrete as well as two pallets of heavy duty rolled plastic that required a foam operation to suppress.

Units operated for serveral hours while D and D off loaded the smoldering materials and cleaned up the burned chassis."
