Be aware of a reported phone scam. Scammers may call you requesting personal or payment information. Florence Utilities will NEVER call to request personal, financial, or payment details over the phone.
A recent report mentioned a scammer posing as an employee from the City of Florence with false claims, including: Offering $200 per month for five months toward utility bills, asking for debit card details and asking about home appliances and promising repairs.
REMEMBER:
�� NEVER give your debit card, credit card, or banking information over the phone.
�� If you receive a suspicious call, do not share any personal or payment information.
