Mystery boom sound alarms residence in Tennessee.

Several residents in the Canon and coffee County areas in Tennessee heard a loud boom sound overnight on monday.

The Cannon County Sheriff's Office says that dispatch took several calls from folks saying a rumbling boom sound that shook foundations and rattle Windows there was no injuries or damage reported but the sheriff is at a loss as to explain the origin of the sound.

No earthquake, no building being blowing up or collapsing, no reported explosion, or anything that could explain the sound has been reported.

At this time the cause of the boom sound is unknown.
