Exciting News! The Lawrence County Chamber is thrilled to announce

that we are hosting the local National Civics Bee® again this year on March 14, 2025! This year's event is made possible by Citizens Bank of Lawrence County.

Essay submissions are now open and will be accepted until February 4th. This is a fantastic opportunity for Lawrence County’s bright and talented students to showcase their knowledge of civics and make their voices heard. Finalists may even advance to Washington, DC, to compete in the National Civics Bee® championship in Fall 2025.

Last year’s event was a huge success, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and passion from this year’s participants.
