Authorities Asked To Investigate Dog Stabbing Incident
Law enforcement officials were asked to initiate an investigation during the weekend when a local resident discovered someone had stabbed her dog.
The victim reported to deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that she discovered the injury on Thursday. She said that her dog had been stabbed in the neck, and that she transported it to her veterinarian for medical treatment.
The victim told deputies she was uncertain who had committed the crime. Investigation into the matter is currently continuing through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
