Five Points Man Killed In Friday Crash
A Five Points man perished Friday evening after becoming involved in a single vehicle crash.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol report that the crash occurred on Five Points Road at around 6:00 p.m. Driver Phillip Lee Wiggins, age 21, apparently overcorrected in a curve, losing control of the vehicle.
His vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Wiggins died as the result of injuries he sustained in the crash.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Josh Culp.
