Vandals Shoot Truck

   A Leoma man summoned law enforcement officials to his home late Sunday after gunshots were fired outside.

   The resident of Leoma’s Dogwood Lane reported to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies that he had heard shots fired outside his home around 9:07 p.m. He indicated that he looked out, but did not see anyone about, nor did he notice any suspicious vehicles.

   According to the victim, when he stepped out to check his 1992 Chevrolet S10 truck, he found bullet holes through both the rear glass and the windshield.

   The matter remains under investigation at the present time. Authorities estimate losses in the case to total $750.
