Wednesday Crime Report
Vandalism
Caretakers of a property located at 188 Dukes Park Road, Summertown reported to deputies Tuesday that an air conditioning unit had been vandalized. Copper had been removed from the unit, resulting in damages of approximately $2,500.
Vandalism
Deputies were designated to investigate allegations of vandalism at an Old Chinubee Road property. The victim reported that someone had knocked down a gate in order to gain entry to the property. She indicated that no one has permission to enter the property. Damages were estimated at $200.
Burglary
Police officers were dispatched to investigate Sunday after management at Super Stop #1, 1904 West Gaines Street, reported someone had burglarized a storage unit. The perpetrator reportedly pried a rollup door, causing around $300 in damages. The manager reported the unit had been double locked because the renter had been several months behind on rent.
