Loretto Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Meet Tuesday Night
The Loretto Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in regular session Tuesday, October 7. A certificate of compliance for Hund Haus, Inc. was approved.
The first reading of a Budget Amendment for the CDBG Grant for early warning sirens in the amount of $133,436 was approved.
The Board also approved referring the plan of services for an annexation request from John Abercrombie for property on Eells Street to the Planning Commission as well as approved a resolution placing a newspaper notice of public hearing on the annexation ordinance and plan of services.
It was announce that the Planning Commission will meet Thursday, October 16 at 4:30 p.m. to consider the plan of services.
Mayor Turner and Aldermen Methvin and McMasters also unveiled the new city flag that will be flown at City Hall under the American Flag. The flag incorporates the new city logo of the City of Loretto.
