Agenda Announced For Thursday’s City Council Meeting
Lawrenceburg leaders have announced the agenda for their bi-monthly business meeting that will take place Thursday morning.
The sole ordinance on the agenda is for budget appropriations of revenue and expenditures for the 2013-14 fiscal year. The ordinance will be brought for second and final reading.
Three resolutions are listed for consideration during the meeting. One would amend the interlocal agreement between the City of Lawrenceburg, Lawrence County government, and the Lawrence County Emergency Communications District Board for the “joint and cooperative operation and maintenance of a centralized emergency radio dispatch center (E-911).”
A second resolution would authorize the City of Lawrenceburg to purchase a used vehicle from Brewer Motor Company.
The third resolution is to accept the bid of Tennessee Valley Mechanical, LLC to renovate the HVAC unit at Lawrenceburg Fire Station #2.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, at the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building on West Gaines Street.
