Ex Arrested For Trespassing On Property After Being Banned

A local man was taken into police custody last week after he was found to have trespassed on some property from which he had been banned.

The victim, age 34, summoned deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department to her Campground Drive home. She reported that her ex-boyfriend had come into her home Thursday without her permission.

She said that he took her keys, then left. Since that time, the victim reports that he continuously texted and called her. One of the messages, she said, contained a threat.

The property manager told deputies that the man had, in fact, been banned from the property. The manager said that he had been escorted from the property and told not to return.

As a result of the investigation warrants were issued, charging Anthony Quinn Dugger, 31, of 915 Revilo Road, with the crimes of criminal trespassing, aggravated burglary, theft, and telephone harassment. He was scheduled an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court of November 5, 2013.
