A bridge currently under construction near Spring Hill GM plant Collapsed with a worker and his equipment.

 

 

According to the Spring Hill Police department a bridge near the exit to the GM plant collapsed on Thursday with a construction worker driving in his equipment.

Authorities stated that the bridge was scheduled for a controlled collapse at a later date, but unexpectedly caved in sending the worker along with the construction equipment 20 feet down.

Reports indicate that the worker was successfully rescued, but there has been no further details released regarding his current condition.
