A local woman contacted the Lawrenceburg police department after $4,000 worth of belongings were stolen from inside her home, and kitty litter was dumped on her bed.

Lawrenceburg police officers were dispatched to a residence on Oakwood Drive with reports of theft where upon arrival police spoke with the female victim who stated that she believed her ex boyfriend may have committed the theft and vandalism.

The female victim told police that the day prior to the theft she was involved in a argument with her ex boyfriend where she ended up staying the night out of town only to return home the next day to find all her clothes, and shoes were missing along with kitty litter being dumped on her bed with an estimated loss of $4,000.

The victim reported to officers that her home did not appear to be broken into even though it was locked when she left, but stated that she did have a house key come up missing the last time she was around her ex boyfriend.

At the time of the report no arrest had been made while officers investigate, and locate possible suspect.
