Sims Street Park Closed
Mayor Keith Durham announces effective today the closing of the Simms Street Park, formerly known as the Swinging Bridge Park. The park will no longer be considered public property.
The City intends to build another park to replace the Simms Street Park. The city owns several other properties in the vicinity and will considering these properties as possibilities for the relocation.
The City of Lawrenceburg takes pride in our park facilities and hopes the closing of this facility and the opening of a new park will create a more family orientated atmosphere which would include new playground equipment.
