Mom Attacks Son With Fan

   A young Lawrenceburg man has reported to law enforcement officials that his mother assaulted him inside their home with an electric fan.

   The man stopped by the Lawrenceburg Police Department Friday morning to file a complaint regarding the incident. The twenty-one-year-old stated that his mother became angered when she asked him for a cigarette and he told her he did not have one.

   According to the victim, his mother picked up an electric fan that had the blade guard removed and began striking him with it while it was running.

   The victim stated that his mother had struck him numerous times with the exposed fan blades. Officers noted that the victim had sustained several abrasions on his torso and arms.

   Investigation into the matter is continuing through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
