The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency received a report from a hunter that a bear showed up on their trail camera.

According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency on Saturday they received a report from a hunter that was surprised to see a bear on their trail camera they had setup to monitor deer activity.

The image was captured in the Joelton, TN area near Baxter Rd, and sent to the TWRA by the hunter.

The TWRA stated that if anyone was to spot a bear always remember do not approach but report the sighting as well as notify your neighbors.

The TWRA also explained that there are certain things that may unintentionally lure bears such as bird feeders, trash, bird baths, pet bowls with leftover food, and by being aware of what can attract a bear will help decrease the possibility of a negative interaction also helping bears to stay wild.
