Man Arrested For Violating Sex Offender Registry Law
A Lawrenceburg man was apprehended by local law enforcement officials Friday evening after warrants were issued against him for failing to remain in compliance with the state Sex Offender Registry law.
According to reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, Tony Allen Brassfield, Sr., was arrested by deputies around 9:00 p.m. Friday. Brassfield, a forty-two-year-old resident of 228 Flatwoods Road, was arrested on two counts of violation of the Sex Offender Registry Law.
Brassfield was transported to the Lawrence County Jail and booked without incident. He is slated to answer the charges through Lawrence County General Sessions Court on Monday, August 30, 2010.
