A Hickman County man who was accused of impersonating a police officer has been arrested on multiple charges including sexual battery.

 

Matthew James Amick was arrested following an investigation into the claims that the Hickman County man was impersonating a police officer between September and December of 2018 where the suspect wore a police looking badge, and even carried a pistol.

Amick was arrested on multiple charges that include criminal impersonation, sexual battery, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

The District Attorney's office stated that more charges are expected as the investigation continues, but for right now Amick is currently in the County jail without bond.
