TBI Makes Arrest In Wayne County Homicide

Wayne County, TN- Today, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Collinwood, TN man for a homicide that happened earlier this week.
On August 4, 2008 at approximately 10:40am, the Collinwood Police Department responded to a homicide at 407 East Broadway Street in Collinwood, TN. The victim, Ron Odle, 67, was found beaten, bloody and unresponsive. The TBI was called in to assist in the investigation and today arrested a suspect in the case. Samuel D. Sherrill, 56, 2040 Collinwood Highway, Collinwood, TN has been booked into the Wayne County Jail on a Second Degree Murder charge. Sherrill’s bond is set at $150,000.
